50 AI Video Prompts for Product Listings, Shortlisted From a Few Hundred

50 detailed AI video prompts for product listings: clothing, electronics, beauty, supplements, home, food. Scene-by-scene templates ready to use.
A good prompt is never a one-liner like "blender ad video." It's a storyboard. I didn't get that right away. I spent a long stretch writing single sentences and wondering why everything came out flat and generic. My name is Alex, I handle content at Flami, and I use the tool myself every day, which is how I've built up a folder of prompts that actually produce a usable clip instead of one more attempt. Here are fifty of them. Not perfect, but they work.
A detailed storyboard means you spell out what's in frame, what the subject does second by second, the lighting, how the camera moves, and what gets said out loud. The more specific you are, the less the model fills in gaps with its own guesses, and the more alive the result feels. None of the prompts below are one-liners. They're full scenes. Grab one, swap in your product, adjust the details to fit.
One structural note before the list: if you want the full breakdown of how to build a prompt from scratch and why this level of detail matters, I covered that in a separate piece on prompt structure.
What a strong prompt actually looks like
Before dumping the full list, here's one prompt written out completely, so you have a reference point for the level of detail I'm talking about. I already broke down a blender example in the structure guide, so here's a different product: a UGC-style serum review.
"Vertical UGC video, 15 seconds, shot on a phone, a woman standing at a bathroom mirror, honest and casual tone.
0-2 sec, hook: she holds the serum bottle close to the lens, looks straight into the camera: 'Three weeks in, and I don't recognize my skin.'
2-5 sec: she drops the serum from the dropper onto the back of her hand, close-up on the texture and a faint shine: 'See, it's not sticky, it soaks in seconds.'
5-9 sec: she applies it to her face with her fingertips, pressing it in gently, skin turns radiant: 'That smoothness, can you see it?'
9-12 sec: she turns her face toward the light, runs her fingers over her cheek, pleased.
12-15 sec: she sets the bottle on the shelf, looks at the camera: 'Out of everything I've tried, this is the only one that stuck.'
Style: raw UGC, vertical 9:16, soft bathroom lighting, bottle visible in frame, handheld camera, no on-screen text."
Every line is doing something: a hook with a promise, a texture demo, an application shot, real dialogue, a strong close. That's the bar to aim for when you need a clip that actually converts. The fifty prompts below are shorter but follow the same logic.
Clothing and footwear
Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 tend to handle fit and model movement the best here.
- "Model wearing a [jacket] against a neutral backdrop, soft side studio light. Slowly turns 360 degrees while the camera follows. Close-ups on the collar, zipper, cuffs, fabric texture visible. Ends facing slightly sideways, a confident look at the camera. Calm, premium mood, like a brand lookbook."
- "A woman in a [dress] walking down a summer street, a light breeze moves the hem, natural sunlight through tree leaves. Camera tracks alongside at a medium shot, occasionally pushing in on construction details. She smiles, pushes her hair back. Lively street energy, a feeling of ease."
- "Close-up on [sneakers] on someone's feet, taking a step on asphalt, the sole and cushioning visible on contact. Low camera angle, dynamic, a slight slow-motion moment at push-off. City background blurred. Energetic, athletic feel, sense of momentum."
- "A [winter coat] on a model in a snowy park, hood and fur trim fully visible. Breath visible in the cold air, light snow falling, cool blue light. Camera slowly pushes in from a wide shot to medium. Model pulls the coat tighter, shivers with a smile. Cozy winter atmosphere."
- "Hands unfold a pair of [jeans] on a table, showing fabric weight, stitching, hardware, the tag. Then a cut: the model is already wearing them, turning to show fit from the back and side. Even daylight, clean background. Matter-of-fact, honest product presentation."
- "A [bag] in a model's hand as she walks down a street, camera holds a medium side shot. The leather holds its shape, metal hardware catches the light. She shifts the strap to her shoulder, opens the flap, shows the inside. Warm late-afternoon light, lifestyle mood."
- "Model in a [suit] buttoning the jacket, adjusting the cuffs, straightening the lapels. Camera slowly circles around, close-ups on fabric and buttons. A restrained office interior in the background, soft directional light. Confident, expensive, authoritative look."
- "A [dress] on a hanger by a window, camera slowly tracks along the fabric as it sways in a light draft. Side lighting emphasizes texture and drape. Then a hand lifts it off the hanger, holds it up. Calm, aesthetic shot focused on the material."
Electronics and gadgets
Unboxing and demo-style content. Seedance 2.0 works well for the UGC feel, Wan 2.7 for anything mechanical.
- "Hands open a [gadget] box on a clean table, top-down view. Lift off the lid, peel back the protective tissue, pull out the device, lay out the accessories one by one. Soft diffused light, deliberate movements. Then a close-up on the main unit. Clean, premium unboxing."
- "[Headphones] resting on a dark matte surface, camera slowly orbits around them. A narrow beam of light sweeps across the body, catching the texture and logo. A hand picks up one earcup, turns it, shows the padding. Dark background, premium tech mood, minimal clutter."
- "A person puts on [smartwatch], fastens the band, swipes the screen, it lights up. Close-up on the interface, watch face changes, a notification pops up. Natural daylight by a window. Camera holds on the wrist at medium shot. Modern, everyday, functional mood."
- "A [robot vacuum] moves across the floor, navigates around a chair leg, goes under the couch and back out. Camera at floor level tracking alongside it. Spilled grain disappears from the carpet. Warm home lighting, cozy interior. A clear demo of navigation and suction."
- "UGC review: a guy holds a [portable speaker] close to the camera, talking about the sound. Sets it on a table, turns it on, colored lights pulse to the beat. Steps back, spreads his hands, like 'just listen.' Vertical 9:16, warm home lighting, slight handheld shake, genuine tone."
- "Hands hold a [smartphone], slowly rotate it, light sweeps across the edges and glass, showing how thin the body is. A finger swipes the screen, opens the camera app. Clean gradient background, studio lighting. Camera on close-up. Minimal, flagship-level presentation."
- "A [power bank] on a table, a hand plugs in a cable and a phone. Close-up: the charging indicator lights up, a charging icon appears on the phone. Wide shot: the person packs the setup into a bag and walks off. Even daylight. Clear, practical functional demo."
- "UGC-style unboxing of a [gadget]: a woman opens a delivery box, pulls out the product box, talks to the camera. Opens it, admires the device, turns it over in her hands. Vertical 9:16, natural room light, handheld shot. The genuine energy of a real unboxing video."
Beauty and skincare
Texture and before-and-after do the heavy lifting. Veo 3.1 handles this well, and for static texture shots pairing it with Nano Banana helps.
- "[Cream] squeezed onto a finger, thick texture visible, holding its shape. The finger applies it to a cheekbone, blending it gently, the cream absorbs within seconds. Extreme close-up on skin, soft mirror lighting. Clean beauty aesthetic, a well-cared-for look."
- "A drop of [serum] slowly falls from the dropper in slow motion, showing its viscosity and shine. It lands on the back of a hand, spreads out. Clean bright background, directional light catches a highlight. Extreme close-up. Premium, almost lab-like presentation."
- "A [lipstick] twists up out of the tube, close-up on color and texture. A swipe across the back of a hand shows rich pigment. Final shot: the model's lips are already done, a slight smile. Studio lighting, saturated colors. A bold, polished, advertising-grade feel."
- "A woman applies [foundation] with a beauty sponge, skin evens out on camera. The frame uses a split-screen before-and-after effect: bare skin on one side, coverage on the other. Soft natural window light, close-up on the face. Camera static. Honest demo of the result, no exaggeration."
- "A [perfume] bottle on a marble surface, a beam of light passes through the glass and bends. A light spray mist hangs in the air and slowly settles. Camera slowly pushes in. Dark, elegant background. A mood of quiet luxury."
- "UGC skincare review: a woman in a bathroom shows a [hair mask], scoops it with her fingers, shows the creamy texture to the camera. Applies it to a damp section of hair, works it through. Steam, warm light, mirror in the background. Vertical 9:16, handheld, genuine home-video tone."
- "[Under-eye patches] pulled from the packaging with tweezers, placed under the eye, a cooling gel shine visible. Close-up on the face, morning light, relaxed expression. Then the patches come off, skin looks fresher. A calm, skincare-routine, morning scene."
Supplements and vitamins
You can't physically film the effect, so this is where animation and graphics carry the weight. Pairing Flux 2 for stills with Kling 3.0 for motion works well here.
- "A [vitamin bottle] centered on a clean, bright background. Translucent icons gently appear and float around it: energy, immunity, sleep, skin. Camera does a light push-in. Calm even lighting, tidy motion graphics. Trustworthy, pharmacy-clean presentation."
- "An [omega-3] capsule slowly rotates center-frame, the translucent shell catching light with a golden fill inside. Clean gradient background. Camera on extreme close-up. Tidy, premium, almost lab-grade aesthetic, nothing extra in frame."
- "[Collagen powder] poured with a scoop into a glass of water, stirred, dissolving with light swirls. Morning kitchen light, fruit nearby. Camera holds the glass close. A hand lifts the finished drink. A clear, practical use demo, healthy tone."
- "Someone by a window in the morning takes a [vitamin], washes it down with water, a light smile, calm mood. Warm morning light, home interior. Camera at medium shot. Then a close-up on the bottle with a readable label on the table. Upbeat, healthy, everyday scene."
- "A [supplement package] in hand, slowly turning, camera holds the label in focus, ingredients and dosage readable. Clean bright background, even light. A finger points to a key ingredient. The tone is honest and transparent, not pushy."
Home and kitchen products
Demonstrated in a real interior. Wan 2.7 for anything with moving parts, Veo 3.1 for the cozy, lifestyle feel.
- "A [blender] on a kitchen counter, a hand loads fruit into the jar, presses the button. Through the clear jar, the blades shred everything into a smoothie, splashes against the sides, bright colors. Then the finished drink is poured into a glass. Daylight, appetizing motion, a clean kitchen."
- "A hand slowly runs across [bedding] on a made bed, showing the softness and weave, light creases. Morning light falls softly through a window. Camera on close-up, then pulls back to a wide shot of a cozy bedroom. Calm, warm, domestic mood."
- "A [pan] on a stovetop, [food] sizzling in it, steam rising, oil bubbling. Close-up on the sear. A hand flips it with a spatula, nothing sticks to the surface. Warm kitchen light. An appetizing, honest demo of the nonstick coating."
- "Hands arrange items into the compartments of an [organizer], everything fits into place, top-down view. Then the camera shows the filled organizer inside a closet, order and structure visible. Clean even light. The quiet satisfaction of an organized space, before-and-after clutter."
- "A [humidifier] on a nightstand in a cozy bedroom releases a soft mist, it curls and catches the light. Warm evening light, muted setting. Camera slowly pushes in on the mist. A relaxing, almost meditative pre-sleep mood."
- "A [kitchen knife] slices a ripe tomato into thin, even rounds, showing sharpness, no juice spilling, a clean cut. Extreme close-up on the blade and cross-section. Clean cutting board, daylight kitchen setting. A sharp, convincing sharpness demo."
- "Hands toss a [throw blanket] onto a couch, the fabric settles into folds in slow motion. Then a person sits down, wraps themselves in it, picks up a mug. Warm evening lamp light, cozy interior. Camera at medium shot. A mood of home comfort and warmth."
Food and drinks
Appetite appeal decides everything here. Veo 3.1 and Hailuo deliver the juiciest footage.
- "[Coffee] pours into a cup, steam rises, foam settles on the surface. Close-up, warm morning light through a window, a blurred cozy café in the background. Camera slowly pushes in. A hand wraps around the cup. Appetizing, unhurried, warm morning mood."
- "A [chocolate bar] snaps in half in close-up, showing the filling stretch. The piece is brought closer to camera, the surface catching a soft highlight. Dark elegant background, directional light. Camera on extreme close-up. Rich, tempting, premium feel."
- "A [burger] assembles layer by layer in slow motion: bun, patty, melting cheese, vegetables, sauce dripping. Final shot: the finished burger with steam rising, a hand picks it up. Warm appetizing light, wooden board. Camera on close-up. Juicy, fast-food-ad-level polish."
- "A glass of [juice] on a table, ice cubes drop in with a splash, condensation runs down the glass. Fresh fruit nearby. Bright sunlight, saturated colors. Camera slowly orbits the glass. A feeling of freshness, chill, and thirst you want to quench."
- "[Honey] drizzles off a wooden spoon in an unbroken golden stream back into the jar. Extreme close-up, warm natural light through a window, a rustic wood table. Camera static, catching the shine. A cozy, honest, farm-fresh product feel."
Kids' products and toys
Soft light, emotion, a sense of safety. Hailuo for faces, Kling 3.0 for full scenes.
- "A child plays with a [toy] on the floor of a nursery, laughing for real, reaching for it. Soft daylight through a window, warm room tones. Camera at the child's eye level, following the motion lightly. Natural, lived-in, joyful, not staged-looking."
- "Small hands assemble a [developmental toy] on a table, fitting pieces in one by one, everything slots into place. Close-up on the process, clean bright background. Then a wide shot: the child looks pleased with the result. Soft light. Focus on engagement, safety, developmental value."
- "A baby in [kids' clothing] moves around, reaches out, the fabric is soft and doesn't restrict movement. A parent adjusts the collar. Natural light by a window, soft pastel tones. Camera at medium shot. A warm, domestic, caring mood, fabric comfort front and center."
- "A [stroller] rolling through an autumn park, smooth ride over the path, leaves crunching under the wheels. Light filtering through golden leaves. Camera moves alongside at stroller height, showing the suspension absorb bumps. A calm, cozy walk, a sense of reliability."
Auto accessories, sports gear, and tools
Motion and durability. Wan 2.7 for mechanical detail, Runway for polish.
- "A [drill] in hand drives a screw into a board, sinking in easily, shavings flying off. Close-up on the chuck and bit. Then the hand reverses it back out. A workshop in the background, directional work light. A convincing demo of power in action."
- "A [car phone mount] holding a phone to the dash, the car driving, a blurred road outside. The phone doesn't vibrate loose, holds firm. Camera shows the mount in close-up, then a wide shot of the cabin. Daylight. A demo of reliability in real conditions."
- "Someone at a gym working out with a [resistance band], muscle tension and resistance visible. A dynamic low angle, high-contrast gym lighting. Camera holds the movement, a slight slow-motion moment at peak effort. Energy, strength, a sense of real results."
- "Someone unrolls a [yoga mat] on the floor by a window, it lies flat, doesn't slip. Steps into a pose, bare feet planted confidently on the surface. Soft morning light, calm setting. Camera static on a wide shot. A sense of balance and grounding."
- "Camera slowly pans over an open [tool set] in its case, wrenches and bits arranged in their slots, metal catching the light. Then a hand pulls out one wrench, the rest stay in place. Workshop lighting. The focus is completeness, order, and build quality."
- "A [bike light] at dusk, a thumb presses the button, a bright beam cuts through the dark on the road. Close-up on the handlebar mount, then a wide shot: the bike rides on, the road lit up. Cool evening light. A demo of brightness and reliability in use."
What to do with this list
Don't try to run all fifty in one sitting. Pick three or four that match your category, generate them, see what lands closest to your product. From there, adjust: break the scene into second-by-second beats like the blender example, change the lighting, the dialogue, the mood. The same template can sound completely different for a youth-focused brand versus a premium one, and that's fine.
One more thing. If you've got five products, writing a custom prompt for each is fine. If you've got two hundred, it's not realistic to do by hand. For bulk runs, Flami has a "video from product" mode: paste a link to your product listing, pick a ready template, and it builds the clip from your existing photos and product details on its own. The prompt is already baked into the template. These fifty come in when you want manual control and your own angle on a specific bestseller.

FAQ
Do these prompts work with any AI video model? The structure is universal, yes. But the exact phrasing works a little differently depending on the model. I noted which one tends to perform best for each category: Veo and Kling for motion and people, Wan for mechanical detail, Nano Banana and Flux for static texture shots.
How detailed does a prompt actually need to be? The more detail, the better. A one-liner gets filled in with an average, forgettable result. For a strong clip, break the scene into seconds, with actions, lighting, dialogue, the way the blender example is written. Don't worry about length, worry about cramming multiple scenes into one clip.
Can I use these clips in my product listing? Yes, as long as you follow the platform's content rules: the product has to be in frame, no third-party logos, no unlicensed music. I went into more detail on listing video requirements in a separate guide.
None of these prompts fit my product. Now what? Build your own using the same logic: what's in frame, where, what kind of light, how the camera moves, what happens second by second, what mood you're going for. I walked through the full structure in this article.
