Appliance Infographic: A Slide Checklist for Features and Specs

Appliance infographic checklist for AI image tools: feature icons, specs and power, dimensions, what's in the box, and which models keep text sharp.

Shoppers buying appliances care about specs and dread getting it wrong: will it fit, is the power enough, what's actually in the box. An appliance infographic turns dry numbers into slides a buyer can actually scan, and AI tools can build them. Here's the checklist I follow to cover the big worries buyers have before they click "buy."

Step 1: Key features

The first slide answers "what does this thing actually do." Show the main modes and functions as icons with short labels: turbo, eco, timer, child lock. Don't dump twenty features on one slide, pick three or four that actually sell the product. Clutter kills comprehension faster than leaving something out.

Step 2: Specs and power

Numbers matter here. Wattage, capacity, speed, energy rating, whatever applies to the appliance. I always overlay these as text added in an editor, because models still get numbers wrong, and a wrong wattage on an appliance listing turns into a return or a complaint. "Bigger, stronger, quieter" comparisons work fine as long as they're accurate.

Step 3: Dimensions

This slide alone cuts returns. Show measurements in inches and, just as important, how the unit fits a typical space: a microwave on a counter, a washer in a laundry nook, a vacuum in a closet. Buyers need to tell at a glance whether it fits, otherwise you're looking at an oversized-item return, and those are expensive.

Step 4: What's in the box and how it's controlled

List what ships with the unit: attachments, filters, accessories. And how it's operated: buttons, touchscreen, app, voice. This answers questions that would otherwise land in your inbox from a shopper who's unsure whether to buy.

Appliance infographic: which tool to use

Appliance slides lean on icons, numbers, and labels, and not every model renders text cleanly. Ideogram handles icons and captions well, and GPT Image 2 is solid for dense spec layouts; Either way, run any non-Latin captions through Flami's character-rendering test before you trust them on a listing. Wattage and dimension numbers, as I said, are safer added in an editor than left to the model.

I'll admit I'm still not always sure whether a feature icon reads clearly without a label, so I show the slide to someone who's never seen the appliance: if they get it right away, the icon's doing its job. And how many features belong on that main slide, three or five, I don't have a fixed rule, it depends on the appliance and the category. Flami can generate the background and graphics from a product photo, but pull the specs and dimensions straight from the spec sheet yourself.

FAQ

What slides does an appliance listing need?

Key features as icons, specs and power numbers, dimensions tied to a typical space, and what's in the box plus how it's controlled. These four cover the main worries buyers have: it won't fit, the power isn't enough, something's missing from the box.

Why does the dimensions slide matter so much?

Oversized returns on appliances are costly, and buyers rarely measure their own space before ordering. A slide with clear measurements and a sense of how the unit fits a counter, nook, or closet removes that risk, since the shopper can see right away whether it works.

Which AI model handles numbers and text best on appliance slides?

Ideogram 3.0 and GPT Image 2 tend to render text more reliably than most alternatives, though models can still misread individual characters, so double-check before publishing. Power, capacity, and dimension numbers are safer added in an editor, since models can still misread or garble them.

How many features should go on one slide?

Three or four, the ones that actually sell the product, not everything the manual lists. A slide crowded with icons is harder to read than one with a handful of clear, well-labeled features. The right number depends on the appliance and category.
